Heartsaver CPR AED
A Heartsaver CPR AED class is an American Heart Association (AHA) course that teaches participants how to recognize cardiac arrest, perform high-quality CPR, and use an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) safely and effectively.
What Happens in a Heartsaver CPR AED Class
In this class, participants learn:
How to recognize when someone is in cardiac arrest.
How to perform CPR (chest compressions and rescue breaths) on adults, children, and infants.
How to use an AED to deliver a life-saving shock to restart the heart.
How to assist a choking victim.
The importance of acting quickly and confidently in an emergency.
The course is hands-on and designed for community members, teachers, parents, coaches, fitness instructors, workplace employees, and anyone who wants to be prepared for cardiac emergencies.
Why This Class Is Important
Saves Lives: Immediate CPR and early AED use can double or triple a person’s chance of survival after cardiac arrest.
Builds Confidence: Knowing exactly what to do allows you to act quickly rather than freeze in fear.
Prepares You Anywhere: Cardiac arrests can happen anytime, anywhere — not just in hospitals.
Strengthens Communities: The more people trained in CPR and AED use, the safer our communities become.
